Password Generator
Create strong random passwords in your browser using secure randomness. Nothing is sent or stored.
🔒 Runs in your browser. Nothing you enter is uploaded or stored.
How to use it
Set the length and character types, then press Generate. Each password includes at least one character from every type you tick. Passwords are made with your browser’s cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), the same source used for encryption keys, and are never sent anywhere.
For accounts you care about, use a different password for each site and keep them in a password manager. Length matters most: 16 or more characters is a good default.
FAQ
Is it safe to generate a password on a website?
On this page the password is created entirely inside your browser and is not transmitted or saved. You can check by turning off your internet connection; the generator keeps working.
What does "bits of entropy" mean?
It estimates how many guesses an attacker would need: each extra bit doubles the work. Around 70 bits or more is strong for an online account.
